The ugly (Okoroshi Ojoo) and beautiful (Okoroshi Oma) masquerades. Amongst the ugly masquerades, we have the Ofepru ( these are athletic masquerades. It chases people, and jumps whatever that is placed before him while chasing anyone) and they vary as well in dancing, singing, telling folks stories, comedic in nature, even the ones that gather children. Then, we also have the Ayondu or Duduyananya(These rarely chase people. It does this in exceptional cases.) and it entertains the people as some of the masquerades dance (Ukaa).

All of these masquerades cover their faces with a mask according to its kind, wear sows on their legs and hands, trousers, a long-sleeve shirt, cover their back with a long blanket of any color, and encircle their necks with a fresh palm frond. In this case, the Ofepru takes a maximum of one to three encircled palm fronds to enable him to run; while the Ayondu takes as many as it can carry.
